Uniform Requirements for Students
All uniform items are available and must be purchased from the College Uniform Shop (located on Campus), with the exception of shoes.
All uniform items and valuables brought to school must be marked clearly with the student’s name.
The wearing of jewellery is restricted. Boys and girls may wear a watch (or medical bracelet if necessary). A cross, or religious symbol on a simple neck chain is permissible.
All students from Prep to Year Six are required to use the ergonomically designed, regulation School bag, which can be purchased from the Uniform Shop. Bags should have names marked clearly on the outside.
Hair must be kept clean, well groomed, of conservative length and cut, and of the student’s natural colour. Boys hair must be cut in a traditional short back and sides and may not be longer than the top of the collar. Girls with hair longer than the top of the collar must tie their hair up using ribbons or fasteners maroon in colour. Maroon coloured clips need to be used to avoid hair hanging around the face also available at the Uniform Shop.
The prescribed College hat is to be worn to and from school and on all occasions when students are outside of the College grounds. Hats should be named inside the lining or inside the crown, not on the brim. No Hat No Play! Students who do not have a hat will be kept on the verandah during breaks. Please be aware the College does not lend spare hats due to hygiene concerns.
Girls only may wear one pair of plain gold or silver studs/sleepers (one earring per ear lobe).
Plain, black, low-heeled, polished leather, lace-up school shoes are to be worn by all Year 1 to Year 6 students with their formal school uniform. Plain, black, leather/’leather look’, lace-up joggers can be worn with the sports uniform. Shoes must be clean and polished at all times. Preps wear plain, black, joggers with Velcro all year, and the College sports socks.
While all reasonable care is taken by the College to provide security for personal items, it is impossible to guarantee security of property. Therefore students are strongly advised not to bring valuable personal items, mobile phones, large sums of money or toys to school. Any mobile phone brought to school with parent permission (e.g. as added security for children travelling home by bus), must be kept in Administration during the school day.
