Governance

The Board of Directors is the governing body of St. Michael’s College (a public company limited by guarantee).

The Board meets monthly at least ten times each year to consider and determine matters of policy and strategy as well as to review and approve educational and financial activities in accordance with its corporate governance responsibilities.

The Board is formally informed of operational matters by Chris Allom in his role as Principal and the Finance Manager, Steve Pardey, who also attends Board Meetings.

An Annual General Meeting of the company is held in April at which annual financial and audit reports are received and adopted, Board members are elected and auditors appointed.
